Instagram Downloader for iPhone
iOS doesn't include a native way to save someone else's Instagram post, and Apple's App Store rules make many third-party downloader apps unreliable or short-lived. A browser-based tool sidesteps that entirely — it just works in Safari.
Downloading on iPhone, step by step
- Open the Instagram post, Reel, or Story and tap the share icon.
- Tap "Copy Link" to copy the URL to your clipboard.
- Open Safari, go to InstaLoadr, and paste the link into the matching tool — Reels, Video, Photo, or Story.
- Tap Download. iOS will prompt you through the share sheet to save the file to your Photos app or Files app.
Why does iOS ask where to save?
Unlike Android's automatic Downloads folder, iOS routes browser downloads through the share sheet so you choose the destination — usually "Save to Photos" for images and videos, or "Save to Files" for anything else.
Does it work in other browsers?
Yes. Since it's a standard website rather than a Safari-only tool, it works the same way in Chrome, Firefox, or any other browser installed on your iPhone.
